I live and work on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. My wife and I have a little girl named Morey who just began First Grade at Island School. We also have another girl on the way (tentatively named Dagmar -- or possibly Morgen), due December 2008.
I was born and raised in Upstate New York. I have a degree in computer science from Embry-Riddle. I have a formal background in software testing and integration, but now I work mostly in computer security. I write software whenever I can, sometimes for work and sometimes for fun (I wrote every line of code that runs this website).

A primitive version of this website first appeared in 1997. It started as a way for me to share photos with family and friends. But it's grown in scope and complexity; I enjoy getting comments from total strangers who happen to stumble on this site and find something interesting or useful.
